Fry :Shallots - finely choppedGarlic - finely choppedDried shrimp - blendShrimp paste2 tbsp taucheo (fermented bean sauce)1 tbsp chili pasteSalt to tasteSave half of fried paste for gravy.In the pan, add 1 tbsp of chili sauce. Add shrimp.Add rice noodles and fry than have been soaked in warm water.Add soy sauce.For gravy, add in water, 3 tbsp of taucheo, tamarind juice and sugar to taste.Put in shrimps.Add 1 - 2 sliced tomatoes.Ready to be served with boiled egg/slices of fried egg, chilies, fried bean curd/firm tofu, chopped scallions and calamasi.
