Fry :
Shallots - finely chopped
Garlic - finely chopped
Dried shrimp - blend
Shrimp paste
2 tbsp taucheo (fermented bean sauce)
1 tbsp chili paste
Salt to taste
Save half of fried paste for gravy.
In the pan, add 1 tbsp of chili sauce. Add shrimp.
Add rice noodles and fry than have been soaked in warm water.
Add soy sauce.
For gravy, add in water, 3 tbsp of taucheo, tamarind juice and sugar to taste.
Put in shrimps.
Add 1 - 2 sliced tomatoes.
Ready to be served with boiled egg/slices of fried egg, chilies, fried bean curd/firm tofu, chopped scallions and calamasi.
